You need to set your camera on shutter priority, where you select the shutter speed and the camera sets the aperture. If you are using film with no flash then at least 400 speed film will be needed but you may have to go to 800. If using digital then set ISO to at least 400-800(200-400 if you are going to use a flash). You want to have a shutter speed of no less than 125th of sec, (1/60 if you have a good steady hand and you pan as you shoot but that may be hard to do depending on the angle you are at.)
You might be better off if you have a 50mm faster lens of say 1.8 or 2.8 if you have one to get decent shot in available light.

What kind of camera are you using that those lenses are on?
I’ve used a Nikon D70 and now using a D80 and I may be able to help

First, I don’t think you want to use 135mm, it requires a fast shutter (1/120 at least), so don’t go beyond 70mm.
I guess that they are walking down the aisle and not running, so the blur is probably due your hand shake, so try to be more steady, elbows resting on your ribs, don’t breath when pushing the button, and press it slowly (just like using a sniper riffle). You can use a tripod - but then you are less mobile.
I don’t know what is the lighting conditions, is it a garden or a closed room? If it is a closed room so I believe that if you push the ISO to 640 you can get a shutter speed of at least 1/60 sec (this is not candles light, right?).
If it is a garden with a limited light I think that an external flash is quite a must.
Anyway, never shoot before checking the shutter speed.
    Good luck!
