Hi,

I have got the Nikon D5000 kit from CametaCamera which I booked from Amazon.com.
1. The items got delivered first with Back order for bags. And the camera bag was also then delivered before the time given by the shipping policy. I am very much impressed with the delivery from Cameta Camera.
2. The Kit is really good, the Nikon D5000 which I got as of now is working fine, since this is the first DSLR camera I purchased for my wife.
3. Although we are new to the DSLR world and we are using it almost everyday to get hold of lot of terms and found this product as wonderful because it is very user friendly and can change any setting in no time. And I recommend this kit to all. This is a very good kit. The camera feature is very good. Perfect pictures and video. Although there is no auto focus while video, but that is fine. I already have a good Sony Video camera, so this is covered.
4. Overall it is a good Kit. Got good 2 lenses, extra battery which is really required, 8GB memory card, cleaning system, bag.
5. value for money.

This camera is great! I bought it for my boyfriend and I to share but it turns out that I want to take it with me EVERYWHERE! It's easy to use and takes beautiful pictures! I love this camera! If you're not sure what you want, a D40 might be the better way to go, it doesn't have as many features but it takes nice pictures and the lenses are all interchangeable. I am happy with my camera and the deal I got but it was a bit pricey in my opinion.

We have a 10 year old and 6 year old that both play football, baseball, and basketball. We bought this package to replace our Panasonic Lumix FZ30. It was a good camera, but we often stuggled to get any good pics in a basketball gym. Well not anymore. After tinkering with the settings in the Manual dial setting, my wife was getting bright, clear, crisp images! And this was the first weekend we had it. I read Ken Rockwells review of the camera ([...] and search Nikon D5000). He is a big fan of the Nikon D40. I researched that and found an article that mentioned that the price for the D40 had went UP due to his reviews. The D5000 had dropped!!! We went with the D5000 and have no regrets. Sure there are features that we may never use, but it's nice to have them in case we want them. All in all, this is a great camera. Especially if you have kids. We can't wait for baseball and football season to see what kind of gems this camera helps produce. What else is nice, is if you are not inclinded to tinker, there are dial settings that will allow you to take great picks right out of the box. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. It is a great investment!
