This camera takes excellent photos. It’s easy to use and if you’ve never used an SLR before, just using the auto setting gives you great photos. The inboard editing is the easiest and simplist I’ve ever encountered.

I had been using point and shoot and digital cameras for the past 10 years and was disappointed with the quality and delay when pressing the shutter button. Although the the Nikon D3000 is an entry level camera, it takes professional looking photographs. The images are beautiful. The guide on the camera is very useful, and the camera is easy to use. It is also light for an SLR. The viewing screen is a nice size and you can zoom. I would recommend this camera to anyone!

its a great camera.. great resolution and easy to use menus. Its easy and intuitive for those who dont know much about ISO, Exposure, and other technical characteristics of photography. But its equally good for those who do know about camera specs and want to use it in manual mode.

I ordered this item after reading lot of reviews online about Nikon D3000, I was very excited to start with my first DSLR. It took me a while to understand the features of the camera and to say i was very thrilled to start using the camera, however to my surprise, the camera failed to function. The camera, despite having fully charged battery doesn’t operate.. I tried multiple ways to see if there is any way to restore the functionality ..but invain.. i culdn’t capture the scenic beauty of Lake Tahoe that i dreamt of taking pics with my DSLR.. I had not return the item ..
